MECIA hosts Breakfast Forum at PALME

During the upcoming PALME exhibition, MECIA will present a discussion forum that will focus on the challenge of adopting professional standards for AV professionals operating throughout the Middle East.

This follows on the success of a networking event held during the ISE show in Amsterdam and brings together a select group of senior AV integrators, suppliers, consultants, designers and industry commentators for a discussion centered on the changing business models for technology supply; skills, resources and technical training in the Middle East; Impact of global financial issues on business in the region; adoption patterns for emerging media technologies; and creating effective partnerships for long term success.

This is an 'invitation-only' event and attendance numbers are strictly limited. "It's only when the senior members of our industry sit down to share ideas that we get a clear understanding of our future needs," says Kevan Jones CTS, publisher of AV Specialist. "By contributing to the collective knowledge, the AV industry in the Middle East can make sure their voice is heard in the global evolution of the industry."

This breakfast forum is welcomed by Alex Heuff, Exhibition Director for PALME ME. "Rapid growth in the AV and installation market and macro-economies pose new challenges and opportunities. PALME is pleased to host the "MECIA Breakfast Forum” and welcome its members for a business breakfast at 9am on the 27th April in Meeting Room Ajman D above Hall 7 in the Dubai International Exhibition Centre".
