InfoComm International is the global trade association for the audiovisual industry. They are registered as a standards generating body with both ANSI and ISO, and their professional CTS credential is the benchmark for excellence in the professional AV industry. (www.infocomm.org)
The International Association of Broadcast Manufacturers (IABM) is the authoritative voice of the broadcast and media technology supply industry worldwide. (www.theiabm.org)
SACIA (the Southern African Communications Industries Association) is a not for profit trade association registered in South Africa. It shares similar objectives to MECIA and is designed to promote the adoption of professional standards in the audiovisual industry across Southern Africa. By working together, MECIA and SACIA are able to provide a broad range of services across the region.
AV Specialist magazine is the official publication for both MECIA and SACIA. Established in 1991, AV Specialist is an alt-monthly publication covering the broadcast and ProAV industry across Africa and the Middle East. |
